TRAINING PROGRAMME
The Society provides extensive training for its staff. The courses are available to individuals from external organisations, subject to availability of places on each course.
We can also deliver bespoke training to external organisations, in the chosen location by arrangement.
The courses currently available are:
- Adult Protection (POVA) (1/2 Day)
- Autism and the Triad of Impairment
- Communication
- Deaf Awareness
- Drug Administration
- Epilepsy (1/2 Day)
- Equal Opportunities (1/2 Day)
- Fire Awareness (1/2 Day)
- First Aid
- Food Hygiene (1/2 Day)
- Health and Safety
- Introduction to WAS (Internal only)
- Introduction to Autism and Care
- Manual Handling (1/2 Day)
- NVCI Refresher
- Non Violent Crisis Intervention (2 Days)
- Report Writing
All courses are one day unless stated otherwise
NVQ Programme
The Society is also a City and Guilds Approved Assessment Centre and can offer a variety of health and social care qualifications up to level 4; including the Registered Managers and Training and Development awards.
